Meet Our Team

Jessica Staker, Hygienist

Jessica has always been passionate about helping others, so she pursued a degree in dental hygiene. She graduated from IUSD in 2007 and became part of the Blue River Dental team in 2008.

Jessica enjoys helping patients achieve their overall healthcare goals through a combination of education and dental care. She also enjoys being a part of a committed team that always puts their patients' needs first.

Jessica lives in Shelbyville with her husband, 2 children and a step-son.
 

Cassie VanOsdol, Hygienist

Cassie graduated from IUSD in 2015 and became part of the Blue River Dental team in 2017.  Her favorite part of her job is being able to educate her patients daily in order to help them improve their dental health, as well as their overall health.  

Cassie lives in Knightstown with her husband, Travis, stepson, Cohen, and dog, Lasso.  She enjoys spending time with her family and participating in outdoor activities.  Cassie also works at a wellness center in her spare time.  Fitness and health have always been a large part of her life.  "I love being able to help people become healthier in all aspects of their lives and oral health is a huge part of that."

Alex Williamson, Hygienist

Alex graduated from IPFW in 2016 and became part of the Blue River Dental team in 2017.  As a hygienist, she strives to help patients achieve optimal overall health through each visit.  "Having patients that leave my chair happy and healthy makes my job that much better."

Alex grew up in Fort Wayne, but recently moved to Greenwood with her husband, Matt, and their dog, Leo.  She enjoys going to the lake in the summer and spending time with family and friends.  

Shelly Roseman, Treatment Coordinator

Shelly has ten years of dental experience and has been in customer service for over twenty-five years. She is most likely the voice you will hear on the phone and one of the first faces you will see in our office. Shelly is also a trained dental assistant and finished 2nd in her class! Shelly resides in New Palestine and has two grown daughters. Her eldest daughter, Kylee just recently got married and her youngest, Madison works at Innovative Pharmacy.  Shelly is a huge sports fan and loves the Kentucky Wildcats and the Cincinnati Reds. She truly enjoys getting to know our patients. Her energetic personality is contagious and we know she will make you feel right at home.

Meet Our Dental Assistants

 

Mandy Brown, Dental Assistant

Mandy became part of the Blue River Dental team in 2015. Mandy has over 10 years of dental experience and completed her dental assisting education at Indiana University School of Dentistry. Mandy and her husband live in Fairland with their two year old son, Anderson. She enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, and going to their summer home on the river in Madison, IN.

Amanda Gooding, Dental Assistant

Amanda graduated with her Certificate of Dental Assisting from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2001.  While there,  Amanda also earned her Expanded Functions certification and has been placing fillings ever since. She maintains her Certified Dental Assistant certification through numerous hours of continuing education classes annually. Amanda has been on the Blue River Dental team since 2001 and enjoys helping the variety of patients that come through our doors each day.

Amanda does her best to help educate and guide patients through their treatment needs and loves seeing the smiles on patients' faces when they see the end results. 

Amanda and her husband live in Shelby County with their two sons.

Kelsay Jackson, Dental Assistant

Kelsay joined the Blue River Dental team just after graduating from the Dental Assisting program at Indiana University School of Dentistry in May of 2016. She is working to complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision at Purdue University. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, shopping, and traveling. Kelsay and her fiancé live in Columbus with their cat, Simon.

"This was my first job out of dental assisting and naturally I was very nervous and a little scared. Everyone in the office was so welcoming and made me feel at home. They were compassionate, caring, and sincere; it didn't take long for me to see this is the same kindness they show their patients. I feel so blessed to be a part of this team and I love what I do!"
